ORGANISATION

BioMar is a multinational group with 40 years experience in the development and manufacture of feed for the fish farming industry. BioMar’s head office is in Denmark and it is owned by the Danish company BioMar Holding A/S of which Schouw & Co is the majority shareholder.

BioMar operates six manufacturing companies, together with a network of sales offices and subsidiary companies throughout the key market areas:

• Salmon feed: two factories in Norway, two in Chile, and one in Scotland
  
  
• Feed for other species: three factories in Denmark, Greece and France supplying mainly trout feed, seabass & seabream feed and eel feed throughout Europe and for overseas export

BioMar has around 500 employees together with an international management team. The Group Management team comprises Nils Agnar Brunborg, Mogens Stentebjerg, Niels Alsted, Tore Wikdal, Carlos Diaz and Jan Sverre Røsstad.
