25 years anniversary at BioMar

Anders Andreasen has 25 years anniversary at BioMar on 1st May 2011.

As a newly educated graduate engineer Anders was in 1986 employed in the Farm Technology Department at the then Dansk Ørredfoder – the old name for BioMar - where he was involved in design and development of equipment for fish farming.

During the following years BioMar discontinued its activities within development and sales of farm technology. Anders’ large engagement and knowledge was, however, still needed and he was transferred to a function in EuroSupport where he advises BioMar’s customers in Denmark and abroad regarding fish farm technology and farming techniques. Especially, Anders’ untiring effort for the dissemination of the knowledge about gasses in water, in the first place the need for oxygen, but later also the need for removal of damaging gasses, have had significant importance for the development of the efficiency in modern fish farming.

During the last years advice on the construction of intensive fish farms with recirculation systems has been the primary task for Anders and he has left his stamp on the construction of many farms.
