ECOLIFE Pearl - feed for organic fish production

The demand for organic fish is taking off across the European continent both through direct consumer demand and through demand from the catering industry. It is almost a decade since BioMar introduced our first certified feed for organic fish production.

ECOLIFE Pearl

ECOLIFE Pearl is BioMar's feed for organic fish production. ECOLIFE Pearl is approved according to European Regulation (EC) no. 834/2007 and 889/2008 and related regulations by Qualité France (FR-BIO 10) and it is also living up to the demands for feed for organic fish production as stated by the Danish Ø-label regulations.

In order to live up to the certifications ECOLIFE Pearl is produced utilising only selected raw materials, which are all individually certified for the use in organic feed. This includes raw materials from organic farming as well as marine raw materials obtained from controlled fishery.

The European Union has set up common regulations for production of organic fish. However, some organisations have a set of additional requirements. Consequently, ECOLIFE Pearl might not necessarily comply to all certifications. Please contact your local BioMar representative for information regarding compliance with other standards than the above mentioned.
