Modifications to product labels

A new European regulation, CE 767/2009, concerning the labelling of complete feed comes into force on 1st of September 2010. From this date BioMar SAS applies the new rules to all product labels, however feed produced before 1st of September will still be delivered with the old labels until stocks are exhausted.

The most important change is that raw materials will be named in accordance with the “Community Catalogue of feed Materials” and will be listed in descending order by weight. The new regulation does no longer require indication of the percentages of composition by weight. However, the percentages, with a tolerance of +/-15%, are still available upon request by contacting the technical services department at BioMar SAS.
