New Vice President for BioMar Continental Europe

Carlos Diaz, current Vice President for BioMar Americas will from January 1st  2010 become the new Vice President for BioMar Continental Europe. Niels Alsted, who has during the last 1½ year temporarily been constituted as Vice President Continental Europe, will in this way be able to retake his responsibilities as Vice President for Sourcing, Research & Development, and Business Development for the BioMar Group.

Carlos is veterinarian with a Master Degree in marketing and commercial management and started in BioMar in 2000. Carlos came from Ecofeed, the fish feed company which Biomar bought in Chile at that time, where he worked since 1994. He has thus been leading the team, which successfully has developed the BioMar and for the last 1½ year the merged BioMar/Provimi Aqua business in Chile to a strong position in the Chilean feed market.  

Felipe Ureta, present CFO for BioMar Americas will take the position as Vice-President for BioMar Americas.
