New feed type for farming of organic salmonids: ECOLIFE Pearl 868
In summer 2009 the BioMar factory in Nersac, France, has been certified by Qualité France for production of feed for organic aquaculture, according to the EU regulations CE 834/2007 and 889/2008, and according to the requirements of REPAB F.
As first production of ECOLIFE Pearl 868 was run in October 2009 the whole range of this new feed type is available now.
ECOLIFE Pearl 868 is the first grower feed for organic fish farming produced by the BioMar factory in Nersac and it is specially developed for production of organic salmonids.
The DP/DE ratio (digestible protein/digestible energy) of ECOLIFE Pearl 868 varies according to the biorhythm of the fish.
ECOLIFE Pearl 868 products are available both with and without pigments added. The pigmented versions are available in pellet sizes 4.5, 6.5 and 9 mm, and the pigment added is Phaffia rhodozyma.
