BioMar employs state-of-the-art
production technology at its 8 factories
which manufacture around 400,000 tonnes
of extruded fish feed per year. These are
in Denmark, Norway, Scotland, France, Greece,
and Chile; and they are strategically located
close to the major fish farming regions
in each country.
BioMar has a continuing investment programme
to ensure optimal plant capacity and cost
efficiency. Factory operating teams adopt
best manufacturing practice and strive for
world-class performance throughout the group.

The pilot plant at BioMar’s
‘Tech Centre’ at Brande
in Denmark serves as a test bed for
process development and training as
well as the production of small-scale
trial diets.
