Get inspired in Edinburgh - Aquaculture Europe 2016

20th to 23rd September the Aquaculture Europe 2016 will take place in Edinburgh, Scotland. Again, BioMar is the Gold Sponsor of this inspiring aquaculture event and is looking forward to meeting with customers and cooperation partners for an exchange of input on the future growth and development of the industry.

BioMar is again the Gold Sponsor of Aquaculture Europe, the annual meeting of the European Aquaculture Society, which this year takes place from 20th to 23rd September at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, Scotland.

"Food for thought" is the overall slogan of the event, meaning something to think about, something to be seriously concerned about and something that provides mental stimulation and nourishment.

While certain sectors of European aquaculture have continued to grow over recent years, overall production has plateaued. There are numerous initiatives to stimulate growth, coupled to demographic and market conditions that show an increased demand, although their potential impact is diminished by varying factors.

The Aquaculture Europe 2016 event will present the latest science to support further development, and industry panels will discuss key opportunities and challenges for growth in aquaculture.
