Salmon undergo significant changes when they transition from fresh water to the sea. In addition to being exposed to a considerably higher infection risk in the sea, the fish’s immune defence and barriers are weakened as a result of the smoltification process. Consequently, the fish are exposed to a risk of disease and increased mortality during this phase. Intro and Intro Q are recommended for use before and after release into the sea respectively. The carefully selected functional components of the Intro package strengthen immune defence and barriers. This ensures optimal performance in the hatchery, and a more robust and resistant smolt after release.

Intro is designed for maximum performance in the hatchery, during and after the transfer and contributes to a fish that is better equipped for contact with seawater. It strengthens the fish's outer barriers, the immune system, the effect of vaccines and strengthens intestinal health.

Intro Q has been developed to ensure a robust fish that grows and develops optimally during the critical start-up period in the sea, and thus provides the foundation for successful production results.Intro Q contains a finely balanced combination of components that support the fish’s physiology and defence systems.

RECOMMENDATION:
- Up to 500g
- When releasing smolts over 350g, using INTRO Q up to 1000g is recommended

INTRO Q +
Intro Q + contains the effective standard package from INTRO Q which, with the help of biofunctional components, supports the fish's physiology and defence systems. The feed is supplemented with live probiotic bacteria that help to modulate the intestinal flora and ensure better disease defence and feed utilization.
The feed is delivered with Q which enhances appetite and thus also the absorption of the functional components in the feed.
