Feed trials in Australia
Performing feed trials is a fundamental part of BioMar and essential for optimising our current diets and developing new ones. In Australia, BioMar…
BioMar Australia is transitioning its Wesley Vale manufacturing and production support operations to a permanent 24/7 operating model from 13 September 2026. The move follows careful planning and reflects the continued growth of our Australian operations, helping us meet increasing customer demand, strengthen our production capability and build greater operational resilience.
This transition will provide significant economic benefits for the local community with an additional 10 operational staff already employed at Wesley Vale.
As Matt Whittle, our Commercial Director explains, “This represents an important investment in our future and reflects the confidence we have in our people, our products and the opportunities ahead.”
With the site operating around the clock, the local community may notice a minor increase in traffic around Wesley Vale. This will primarily be associated with employees arriving and leaving the facility for different shifts. We will continue to manage vehicle movements responsibly and with consideration for our neighbours and the surrounding community.
While our operating hours are changing, we do not anticipate a material increase in off-site noise or lighting, based on our current assessments. We will monitor the transition and respond to concerns raised by the community
We remain committed to operating responsibly and being a good neighbour to the Wesley Vale community as we take this important step in the continued development of BioMar Australia.
If you have any questions or concerns about our operations or experience any disturbance that you believe may be related to the Wesley Vale site, we encourage you to get in touch with us.
You can contact our team directly via info_au@biomar.com or submit feedback through our Community Contact Form below. We value open communication with our neighbours and the wider community and will work to respond to any concerns raised.
