Every step of our value chain is certified to comply with international standards
We build on base-level ISO 9001 certification & HACCP at all production locations and include ISO 14001, ISO 22000, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 at specific locations depending on the needs and market requirements. In addition, we follow market-related standards, certify to BAP, GLOBALG.A.P. and other product standards, and are working on deploying the new ASC Feed Standard across all applicable markets.
Our Quality Department ensures that our products and services meet customer expectations and country regulations. This is accomplished through continual improvement of our internal processes, controls, and our quality management system to maintain a desired level of excellence.
Raw materials policies and procedures
To ensure quality and mitigate risks, all new suppliers and raw materials undergo a thorough approval process. Existing suppliers and raw materials are evaluated annually and required documents are updated continuously throughout the year.
At BioMar, we maintain full traceability of all raw materials, selecting them based on key performance parameters such as sustainability profile, quality level, and food safety. Our raw materials are sourced exclusively from approved suppliers.

The BAP certificates demonstrate our production facilities ability to reach some exceptionally precise standards trusted by retailer and food service companies worldwide. It concerns the environment, employees, chemical use, resource efficiency, compliance with laws and regulations and resource use.

Global G.A.P. certification plays a crucial role in ensuring food safety and quality by establishing clear guidelines and requirements for agricultural production.
BioMar are aiming at safer and more sustainable farming practices. It demonstrates safe and sustainable processing practices for quality production. Overall, Global G.A.P. certification plays a critical role in safeguarding food safety and quality, promoting sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, animal welfare, workers health, safety, and welfare.

Organic Certification
The Organic Food Federation is at the forefront of promoting organic methods and maintaining high standards and best practice within the sector. On the other hand, Naturland certification guarantees consumers that products meet the strict ecological and social requirements of Naturland standards. Both organizations provide organic certification.
CIPA certificate
The CIPA certification emphasizes the key aspects of the procurement function including planning, organizing, and controlling the procurement audit function. It guarantees that our procurement processes align with company policies and prevent corruption. It centres around scrutinizing transactions and adhering to established standards.
Label Rouge
The Label Rouge is a French national sign for superior quality products. Label Rouge is awarded when demonstrating full compliance with health and safety regulations, meet quality requirements and conditions for harvest, catch method, rearing, production, processing and distribution.
Traceability is required throughout every step when the production and distribution chain is implicated and controlled.
HALAL certificate
