Terje Sæther receives the Norwegian medal for Long and Faithfull Service
December 18 2020Terje Sæther has worked for BioMar Norway in positions within R&D and Marketing for more than 30 years and this year sees him entering retirement. Terje is well recognised across the BioMar world for his contributions to the development and promotion of some of BioMar’s well respected products and brands. Back in 1992 he spearheaded Bio-Optimal the first in the revolutionary growth-feeds before developing BioMar’s first range of preventive health-feeds called SMARTfeed. He was also part of the creation of BioSustain, the aquaculture industry’s first feed sustainability program and more recently BioMar’s Pigment Performance Technology.

Solid third quarter performance improving revenue and earnings
November 7 2019BioMar is delivering solid results across the globe. A strong financial result in Q3 brings the group to raise the overall guidance for the year once again. BioMar reported a 3% year-on-year increase in volumes sold in the third quarter of 2019, driving the revenue up by 10% to DKK 3,404 million from DKK 3,104 million in Q3 2018. EBITDA improved by 28% when correcting for the impact of IFRS 16.
