BioMar further invests in LARVIVA hatchery feed success
BioMar Group announced the expansion of the marine hatchery trial facilities at their Aquaculture Technology Centre (ATC) Hirtshals in Denmark. The…
BioMar delivered volume growth of 5% year on year in Q3. In the same period, revenue increased by 19% year on year to DKK 5,807 million, while EBIT increased to DKK 618 million. Guidance raised on EBIT and revenue.
The exceptional earnings in the quarter were driven mainly by the Salmon segment and Selected Species, reflecting higher volumes and market share in some markets, temporary raw material market conditions, positive exchange rate movements as well as BioMar’s sourcing flexibility and formulation expertise. ROIC including goodwill increased to 27.1%.
BioMar raises the 2026 guidance for revenue and EBIT and lowers its volume guidance. The update reflects an updated outlook for the remainder of the year based on recent market developments and the impact of weather events, including higher raw material prices, customer demand and current exchange rates, as well as strong earnings performance in the first nine months of 2026.
“We delivered our strongest quarter ever in terms of volumes and EBIT on the backdrop of the expected increase in marine ingredient prices, mainly driven by El Niño. Despite uncertainty around raw material prices, the impact of weather events and disruption in energy supply in Ecuador for Q4, we remain positive in the market fundamentals in the medium term. This leads us to update our outlook for the remainder of the year. We are raising our full-year guidance for revenue and EBIT, while adjusting our volume guidance to reflect a softer last quarter of the year”, explains Carlos Diaz, CEO BioMar Group.
